Art Trek
Is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for the schools is a community outreach program that trains parents and other volunteer docents to go into the classroom to deliver sequential, hands-on art lessons. Our lessons are designed not only to impart rendering, painting, and sculpting skills, but also to build student confidence and community ties.
Art Trek studio classes offer a friendly and non-judgmental workshop environment for students of all ages. We believe that doing art enhances many other life skills such as problem solving, synthesizing information into original and thoughtful ideas, having the confidence to start and finish an idea, and acquiring the ability to get past obstacles that can stop us in our creative track.
